Now, there has been a development on this issue. In a statement made by Russian Public Council Vice President Mikhail Ivanov, it was stated that if certain contents were not removed, GTA 6 could be banned in Russia.

In previous leaks about GTA 6, it was stated that details such as male strippers would also be included in the game. Ivanov made this statement based on these leaks. Ivanov stated that if these “immoral” contents are not removed from GTA 6, the game could be banned in the country.

In his statement, he harshly criticized Rockstar, saying, “The creators of GTA 6 deliberately include destructive and obscene content that is completely unacceptable for the moral health of society.” He then said, “This includes the deliberate inclusion of male striptease scenes in the game; this is a direct and mocking violation of basic moral norms and traditional spiritual values.“

Ivanov wants developers to release special versions of GTA 6 that are free from such content for the Russian market. In other words, he demands a version of GTA 6 that will only be available in Russia, with inappropriate content removed. We do not know what path Rockstar will take. Time will tell what will happen.
